Wine Reviews - Yeringberg Shiraz 2005

Jeremy Oliver, OnWine - 90pts
"Meaty, gamey and ethereal, but perhaps lacking the depth of genuine structure for confident cellaring, this is nevertheless an appealingly complex, heady and distinctively rustic shiraz of great appeal. Smoky and spicy, its floral and slightly brandied aromas of cherries, plums and raspberries reveal powerful floral qualities. Medium in weight, its velvet-smooth, minty and alluring palate of small berries and gamey oak finishes long and savoury."
