Tasting Note - Yarra Farm Chardonnay 2005 (QPR recommended)
I can't be totally sure but I'm nearly certain that this is a negociant label of some form from the Yarra Valley. The 2004 vintage reds were more than disappointing but this chard has shaped up ok. Ripe peachy fruits to smell and taste, low oak, a hint of acid and bitterness in the palate, the latter lending a nice firming touch. Might be worth a look at $12 - $14.
