Tasting Notes - Allandale Chardonnay 2006
Solid enough wine but far from distinguished. Quite ripe in style across all facets; medium gold in colour (looks a touch older than a 2006), rich fruits on the nose, and a forceful palate. Flavours get distracted through some heat, leaving a disjointed feeling, and some slighty arkward spicy oak. Finishes hard and a little abrasive.
