Tasting Notes - Larnoo Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 Reserve

A dark purple-black colour with a dustry araoma which I found quite closed. Meidum to full palate weight with plenty of succulent blackcurrent fruit and a touch of chewing tobacco to finish. Some noticeable tannin but this time the weight of the wine could carry it. The wine is definately a bit young at present but shows good potential. It will almost certainly improve with time and with food.
