Tasting Notes - Bianchet 'Stones Throw' Rose 2005
Looks like a second label of sorts from long-time Yarra Valley player Bianchet. It's probably a bit unfair writing a note on this wine now given it's a 2yr old rose. Anyway....rich sugary style both to smell and taste. I've got no idea of the base grape; cabernet's my best bet. Thickish palate, still holding plenty of sweetness, with traces of heat and bitterness to finish. Will appeal to some but not really our bag.
