Bedi's (Indian)

We had taken the staff here a year ago and were very impressed. Tasty curries and breads kept rolling out all night and the staff were very accommodating with the 20 odd sample bottles we brought along.

This time around the whole experience was very unremarkable. Service was fine, although noting special, but the main dishes (2 curries) were disappointing to the extent they were flavourless 'gravies' with no redeeming features at all. Very bland and boring; it was almost like the flavours were targeted to a McDonald's crowd who freeze in fear at the site on any genuine curry flavour. To many good Indian restaurants around here to bother coming back anytime soon.

Where? 118 Park St South Melbourne
Entrees $7 - $10
Mains $14 - $20
Corkage $3 pp
