Tasting Notes - Mount Burrumboot Tempranillo 2005 (Recommended)
Dark, opaque, dense red colour gives you an instant hint at the depth of this wine. It's alive with rich, warming aromas of berry fruit and aniseed. The palate is big, soft and voluptuous displaying juicy plum and berry fruit, meaty and savoury notes with fine, well integrated tannins. It finishes with some aniseed and vanilla. If you spend a bit more time with this wine you'll very probably find even more flavours. Top marks for complexity!
