Tasting Note - Little Fish Shiraz 2004 (Recommended)

Quite a step up from last night's cab merlot from the same label. Softer style that shows very attractive berry fruits and licks of spice and licorice both on the bouquet and the palate. In this respect more akin to McLaren Vale. Spicy fruits, a hint of tannin and some slightly prickly acid drink a reasonable finish. Actually quite good given we'll probably retail this around $15. I think this is made by Dean Hewitson, and if so the quality of the wine making shows.
