Tasting Notes - Tallis Viognier 2005
Not bad for a cheapy viognier (well, under $20 qualifies as cheap for the variety). Ripe nose with musk and apricots, perhaps a touch hot. Thickish palate with more musk, tropical fruits, ripe apricots and a nice but weird pongy note. medium length finish. Quite simple but effective, but just not quite my bag.
