Tasting Notes - Tallis Rose 2006

Early picked shiraz style. Could be the product of a tough vintage, volume wise, given 2006 was hard work through much of Victoria. Very clean and clear medium cherry hue. Nose is simple; touches of sweet and light berry fruit. Palate is fairly pedestrian with simple red fruits and a minerally zingy edge. Not dry, but certainly not Turkey Flat full powered either. Not at all remarkable but not poor either.
