These guys have been a real revalation of the past 18 months. The 2005 was a fantastic wine and I think the 2006 is a big step up. Back label indicates the Sons of Eden crew made this wine so it stands to reason that it's very decent.
Firm structure and serious fruits. Nose shows dark berries, prunes, and a hint of sweetness. High quality palate, again showing friendly pruney flavours early before being straightened up with bitter red fruits. Mild oak at best. Really good wine. Apparently sourced from a high quality old vine vineyard and it clearly shows here.
