Tasting Notes - Creed The Pretty Miss Shiraz Cab Franc Viognier 2004

Unusual blend with the cab franc component. Aromas don't really get me off to a good start; burnt rubber smells being quite dominant. Wine redeems itself on the palate with sweet floral berry notes - the impact of the cab franc perhaps? Hints of burnt rubber lurk but for most part doesn't detract. A pleasant drop but not really distinguished, but saying that worth a look given the unorthodox blend.
