Wine Review - Yeringberg Chardonnay 2006

Jeremy Oliver, OnWine - 95pts
"Beautifully measured and controlled, this elegant young chardonnay exudes finesse and balance. Backed by faint undertones of butter and sweet vanilla oak, it reveals nutty, floral perfume of white peach and pear before a smooth and fluffy but surprisingly sumptuous and substantial palate. Pristine flavours of pear and citrus fruits knit tightly with fresh oak, undertones of cashew, neat punctuated by fresh acidity. (Yarra Valley, not yet released, 18.7/95, drink 2011-2014+)."
