Wine Review - McHenry Hohnen Rocky Road Zinfandel 2005

Campbell Mattinson, WineFront - 91pts
"If you're up for the big end of town, this is a fabulous drink. It's certainly no shrinking violet. It's bold, thick, soupy and intense, but it's also structured and complex - it reminds me, in its appeal, not a little of Italian Amarone. Hazelnuts, blood plums, tar, dried flowers, Christmas pudding - you get the drift. The finish is dry and firm though, and dollied-up with satisfaction. Grab me a steak and bottle of this, and I'd be one happy camper. Drink: 2007-2011. 91 points."

Cheers Biby,

We are still just mucking around trying to get the content up.. Transposing 500 tasting notes from our old forum vehicle won't be much fun!!
