Wine Review - Craggy Range Te Muna Vineyard Pinot Noir 2005

Campbell Mattinson, WineFront - 94pts
"In its own distinct fashion, this is a stunning wine. It carries a blast of white pepper spice, so much so that it smells as much of shiraz as of pinot noir, the palate then tight, fine, powerful and composed, a bolt of rigid authority. Come back in seven or eight years. Flavours of blueberry, cherry, earth, cedar and all that pepper - studded into place with very firm tannin. Here comes new world pinot noir. Drink: 2012-2018. 94 points."
