Wine Review - Mount Horrocks Cordon Cut Riesling 2006

Campbell Mattinson, WineFront - 92pts
"I rarely review dessert wines because they're generally not to my taste, but when this jumped out of a bunch of about 15 that I opened recently, I had to say something. It's really good. It's very sweet, but layered and complex, and finishes with a sense of bitter, chalky authority. It made all the other wines in the line-up look simple. Lime, teaf leaf, tangerine, citrus rinds and lots of acidity ... along with all that overwhelming sweetness. Drink: 2007-2011. 92 points."
