Boggy Creek Sangiovese 2006
Mild fruits with mineral hints. Strictly medium bodied and perhaps lean but nevertheless varietal. The lean structure does have some appeal.
Di Fabio Cabernet Franc 2000 (Recommended)
I've had this wine a few times over the past few years and it never fails to impressive. Now gloriously mature but very attractive with greenish cabernet fruits on the nose, lifted, and screams its variety. Balanced palate. A bit of a freak given the age and low standing of the 2000 vintage.
