Tasting Notes - Marc Bredif Vouvray 'Grand Annee' 1986 (Recommended)

A classic 'eye opener' wine.

Massively interesting nose with truckloads of bitter forest fruits and varnish (the latter in the best possible way), and throw in some old furniture store aromas as well! Very authoritative. Spicy aged fruits to taste; clean flavours and good drive. Can't believe this is 22 years old!!

Some amazing value here given the 1988 is currently available for retail sale in Australia in the $40 - $45 range.
