Tasting Note - Chateau Grand Puy Lacoste Saint Guirons 1978 (Recommended)

Region: Bordeaux (France)
Appelation: Pauillac (5th Growth)

It's not every day I get the chance to drink 30 year old Bordeaux. It was served blind and I suggested in was an early 90s vintage! Settled green capsicum fruits on the nose with amazing penetration. Well developed palate with dry leafy cabernet fruits and showing amazing balance. Awesome wine considering the age.
