Tasting Notes - Kamberra Chardonnay 2004

A pretty ok example of cool climate chard. It was good of BRL to put some focus into the Canberra region via this label but I'm not sure if indeed it's still in existence.

Pale gold in colour; youthful for the age, and an attractive / elegant nose of low key stone fruits and a whisper of vanilla. More of the same to taste although the fruit doesn't really penetrate such that the flavour component doesn't really define itself with any certainty, the exception being some ok stone fruit action on the very back palate. Drink now.
