Tasting Notes - Arrivo Nebbiolo 2004 (Recommended)

One of a handful of high priced local nebs that has serious claims on being a legit Piedmont lookalike. Only 100 cases for this vintage.

Light blood red in colour; a good start. Just a touch of lightening at the rim. Dry herbal notes on the nose along with fruity raspberry. Flavours are also in the 'dry' spectrum with lots of old world tannin. Drives a very long finish. This wine is not at all fruity but rather all about firm structure.
