Tasting Notes - Ashton Hills Vineyard Salmon Brut 2001 (Recommended)
Brilliant rose like hue, perfectly 'salomon' like! Fairly neutral nose but some sweet fruit notes do lurk. Much more going on in the palate, very ripe and plenty of overt fruit, although this is well balanced by some firming acid and fizz. Very drinkable. In some ways a simple wine but all the better for it.
